I was at the bookstore and stumbled into this

Pix under cut. Is it just me or does he have green eyes, not blue, in these pix?

They look blue to me, but it's hard to tell, since the pics aren't very close up. They just don't look as bright as the other guy's contacts.

It's the grey/onyx contacts he's been wearing for the last several months.

I wasn't aware that he'd ever denied he wears coloured contacts. Especially as the shade of blue he used to wear changed every few months...

I don't have exact sources, but he's also said on Twitter that he was (colored) contact-less in Bunraku and Fuurin Kazan ^_^

It's also obvious that he isn't four hundred fifty years old, but once upon a time he'd tell people he was. I dimly remember him telling people he had naturally blue eyes, and that he wore sunglasses as often as he did because they were very sensitive to light. Realistically he wore blue contacts, which at the time were hard lenses and thus very uncomfortable to wear all the time, or under studio lights.
