GACKT Presents For Dears [夜想会VIII~月と闇~] 2009 in Singapore


Hi Mod & people~Not sure if this has been posted...anyway this is my first post after lurking in this fantastic community for a longgggggg time.
I visited Dears last night and find out that GACKT is bringing his Dears to Singapore in October 2009 for his fanclub tour.First flight is on 21st Oct 09, second flight on 22nd Oct 09,duration of stay is 6 days 4 nights,the details in jap as below - gackt.com/jp/.

I only figured out the destination after 10 seconds due to my poor katagana,I was thinking which lucky country would it be?And am totally stunned O_O when I read out 'Shingaporu',シンガポ-ル =Singapore,this is the first time my hair stood on end with excitement when I read out 'Singapore????'. It has been 7 years since I started listening to his songs,it really worth waiting and moment of reciprocation is soon to come.Hope to give him a BIG welcome at the airport,sticking around the group and try to mingle with JDears..heeheetwisted

Hope to spread this fabulous news to all fans.

PS: I thought GACKT hated hot climate!? Why would he choose Singapore??Oh,I can never figure out his mind :p

This is a surefire way to piss off a lot of people, Dears staff and fans alike.

I'm guessing you're joking, or at least you mean to do this very discreetly but... this is a preemptive NOBODY DO ANYTHING/SAY ANYTHING RASH from the mod.

Darn, I was totally going to make an asshole comment about how stalking =/= cool (j/k)!

BTW aren't the Dears trips just for the fanclub? I am sure that hanging out at the airport won't gain the OP a whole lot...

sadly, i'm in Japan now... orz

But well, Singapore is small, i don't think you have to stalk him to see him and the dears along the streets. ^^

Yes, it was announced in an omake, months ago, that yasoukai would be in Spain this year.
They just... changed it, and there are apparently many reasons for this, mainly massive intradears leakage of "confidential info" (about flights, hotel, etc.) and the fact that they were not really aware there was a quite large and rambunctious fanbase in Spain, plus recessión/swine flu. etc. made them change their mind. Also some problems with the spanish side (organizing contacts there)of the whole thing.
So that large rambunctious fanbase in Spain is now a quite pissed fanbase also.
Whatever non dear fans in Singapore will plan to do about this, I'd suggest they'd do it as "quietly" as possible.

This completely made my day....he's visiting me in my home country!! OMG...not sure if i can keep away from the "stalking" but...will want him to come again so will surely try!!! Perfect excuse for us Singapore Dears to meet up...we just need to be cool about it if we bump into him (accidently, i mean...hee hee...)

For the greeting at the airport, I would be very careful about that. I can't remember what trip it was but he was 'greeted' at the airport by hundreds of fans and they became so unruly and excited that they almost pushed over/stepped on a woman with a baby stroller. Gackt got extremely angry at the fans' behavior. I know there's a video around of him expressing how upset he was about the entire situation. :[

I saw that video too,think that it was drug party at Korea.His staff got chided by him too..
Hopefully,the security forces or police will be there to assist them should there be any uncontrolled situation..

there aren't that many attractions in singapore. i am so going to camp at siloso (or palawan o.o) beach for 5 days and see if i can 'accidentally ' see him. XD

come to think of it, this is actually quite depressing, like he is going to be here for so many days, yet we might not be able to see him at all. ): if only he can hold a mini live here that's not exclusive to the fan club!

He'll be expecting a lot of 'accidents' at Sentosa,Clarke Quay,Orchard...etc haha

I've never been a fangirl who had waited for any artist at the airport before,I don't even know the flight schedule and whether he'll be catching the 1st or 2nd flight.We might not get to see him afterall,just the thought that he is closest to us for that 6 days but I can't meet him in real person is distressing :(

Actually it's strangely difficult to find him at the airport. The year he came to Vancouver, I was in the airport because I had a part time job there. I saw the whole Dears staff and members with 2 specially ordered tour buses but no Gackt.

I even asked them if they were Dears and they all said yes but I guess Gackt might have taken a different plane...or something strange like that.

Oh, I am quite happy that he is going to Singapore. I was there six months ago and I fell totally in love with this city. It is amazing and I can't wait to go back. So, I am pretty sure, Gackt will love it there :)

OMG.. i wonder if anyone know his schedule in Singapore..
I really hope he will have a very good impression on singapore!! So that he might consider coming back here for concert~~~~ fans in singapore, please go to the sistic website and vote for Gackt.. There is a poll going on now.. Please help to spread the news!!!
